Also, if you have ever used Eudora for email, the "new email" chime is the chime at the beginning of the Log song.

I remembered there were some variations to this Log commercial. From doing a quick search I found references to these:

Log For Girls
New Log Products (From Blammo)
More New Log Products (From Blammo)

So this was one of the running jokes on Ren & Stimpy. I haven't found any other videos but but they all had the same premise.

Wow, $25 for an 8 inch tall log.

LOL...no, I'm not going to buy a Log. But I may put the first/second season of Ren & Stimpy on my Christmas list. From looking at the episode listings most of the stuff I remember is from those 2 seasons. Oh, that reminds me, I still have "How I met your mother" sitting on top of our entertainment center. We may be coming into town this weekend. If we do I'll bring it.
